Lauryl Alcohol Ethoxylates (LAE), also known as Laureth-x (where x represents the average number of ethylene oxide units), are high-performance non-ionic surfactants produced by ethoxylation of C12–C14 fatty alcohols. They offer excellent detergency, wetting, emulsification, and solubilizing properties, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. These surfactants are biodegradable, stable in acidic and alkaline environments, and compatible with anionic, cationic, and amphoteric surfactants.
